Lulu and Tif are a couple who traveled to India together. During their journey through many different cities, people who saw them with their camera would frequently ask them to take their picture. Not with them. Just theirs. And afterwards, without anything more than a smile or a nod, they would leave. Everyone except for one little girl.

It was Eid, and the couple had been invited into the home of her family. The three daughters were all dressed up and tattooed in henna, and requested a picture. After the photo was taken, it was this girl who said the words that marked their trip (and possibly their lives) forever: “Please remember me”. This book is an homage and tribute to all those who ask to be remembered.
